Sup /lit/, I have rarely ever been to this board but recently I've started enjoying reading books again, one I'm particularly keen on is The Art of Learning, and I always enjoy these kind of books and I wanted to know some good similar books. They can be about psychology aswell, as long as it's something that makes you think about how you percieve things.

I tried checking out the recommended reading but I didn't find anything that seemed to fit this description.

Descartes and Kant would be a good place to start.
Type their names into filestube or Gutenberg and you will find all their work. It is quite dry though unless you enjoy psychology and philosophy quite rabidly I should say.

Or look more generally into the field of epistemology.

I'd recommend for psychology some Jung or Freud, but a lot of philosophy books have this effect too. You might enjoy Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations, which presents some interesting ideas in a clear and methodical way which requires a certain degree of reader involvement.

I gave helping a shot. I took epistemology for one semester a few years ago and barely remember it.

At best it gets the ball rolling for people who know something proper.

People who know something proper don't linger on fucking 4chan.

You trips are so obsessed with proving yourselves that you never stop to realise there is no prestige in doing it here.

I need not prove myself nor gain prestige. That is just silly.

you say that until they become 'liberated' and undo the careful life you've set out for them.
