More authors like Ligotti?

I liked Teatro Grottesco the most, especially Severini and The Bungalow House, which is some of the best (and somehow funniest) horror I've ever read. I wasn't really into the more mystical/esoteric Ligotti stuff as much. I'm also not entirely sure I've read all his stuff either, as I know he published a lot of short stories in magazines and such that weren't included in any of his collections.

Ligotti is a lot of fun, though. He's often hilarious, at least for me.

Perhaps, but he has a brain disorder - anhedonia- that causes him to be unable to experience fun. He's talked about this before.

Fuck hedonic fun. Ligotti is really funny with his subtle dark humor.
