Babitsról nekem annyi maradt meg, hogy mennyire művelt ember volt, irodalomtörténész stb.
Meg ugye az Isteni Színjáték fordítását az egyik legjobbnak tartják a világon. Csak a Szophoklész fordításait olvastam, viszont azok messze jobbak voltak mint amit az összes többi fordító produkált a kötetben.

We don't have a lot of great writers, but the prize has to go to Vilhelm Moberg. The Emigrants have real soul. Most other famous Swedish writers, the ones writing children's literature being excepted, just wrote anti-establishment trite that has aged poorly. Not a property great literature has. Astrid Lindgren and Selma Lagerlöf are also really good.
