Depends on the person, anon. What are you talking about? There are plenty of languages worth learning. My order was basically Portuguese (native), English, Japanese, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Arabic. But the only decent ones atm are English and French, I can read news on Japanese using a dictionary, but that is it, I'm not able to read literature.

French philosophy is garbage honestly.
Nothing new was introduced like with the Greeks or Germans metaphysically or logically.
Nothing was changed ethically or judicially like with the British or Romans.
French philosophy is just wordy rehashing of other philosophy akin to translations of other more important works. This is just like when someone copies your homework and you ask them to make it not look so obvious and they just copy you outright.

Latin (obligagtory to jump into romance languages later)
Ancient Greek
Sanskrit

German, English, Russian, Chinese and Japanese are tier 2-3 at best.
