You probably think the Great Gatsby was just a romance novel or something. It's deeper than that but also a book that is rather light reading. If you don't like fiction fine, but saying it's beneath you as if fiction is stupid just makes me think you have very low critical thinking and creativity. I'm guessing you're a math guy?
