Interesting take. I think Submission has a bit more psychological introspection that The Camp of the Saints lacked. Raspail knows that things are ugly and he knows how culture will decline, but he can't quite understand in a non-cartoonish way what causes the slow decline of the west on a psychological level. There isn't enough financial and psychological analysis in The Camp of the Saints, and Raspail comes across as a seething Sedevacantist.
