I don't think every great man would disappoint you.
Napoleon and Goethe had a meeting and they were impressed by the other.

I like it because the expectation of disappointment means anon still has some hope.

I feel you bro. My memory is making a serious impact on my intelligence ceiling. I think i fucked it up from marijauna and maybe some experimental drugs. I feel such shame at forgetting serious topics I study. I wish I knew some way to fix it.

writing things down will help you remember. but it needs to be with a pen and paper. typing on a keyboard doesn't accomplish the same thing.

YOU IGNORE WHAT AUTISM IS; YOU ARE NOT AUTISTIC; YOU ARE MENTALLY IMPAIRED.

forgetting serious topics is rough, usually people can engage really hard for difficult texts and increase retention. to fix it, i believe you should repeat the reading.

relatedly, since we're on lit, you should read from Hebb's 1947 book theorizing neuroscience, it's really interesting to see how his intuitions were later vindicated by experiment.

This is going to happen unless you're constantly going back to a piece of work or it's had a very strong influence on you. Wouldn't worry about it.

what time zone you in, buddy?

No, you have not thought about what you've read after you've read it. That's all that's necessary. Reading is good. Retaining what you read by thinking about it? Even better.
