This has got to be the most pseud game ever.

Pic related is a book that I had sent into jail, meaning it went from Amazon to the court house, into an open bucket, to the cop manhandling it to check for drugs, then having a sticker slapped on the front with my bunk number, to being reread every day and night, and then to being flipped through and thrown around every time my bunk was shook down (every day), to me having it taken away and stored in my property which was a bundle of clothes and just stuffed in, to me being released with a stolen webbed laundry bag used as my sack to carry my belongings miles away on foot, to being jumbled and pressed and tossed, all until I got home and put it on my shelf.

If all of that results in a book looking like this, then people can for sure keep a book they read once or twice at home from looking like a tattered mess.

You look like a pretenda intellectual

I know that version of the bible is from ebay.

I also dont think Amerca was ever good, your nation was founded by freemasons who were later stupid enough to be subverted by the Bavarian Illuminati and then ruined the whole world as a result.

I mean the result of your nation is that you killed the indians so a bunch of lazy africans could get fat, tear down your statues and jews could rule over you. I wouldnt be proud of that.

Everything that has spawned out of America is directly the result of Anglo-Saxon incompetence and now we all suffer for it while you praise your shithole leaders from 240 years ago. Muh Washington muh Lincoln

No one gives a fuck the only good leader is Hitler and the entire world along with the delusional Americans had to gang up on him.

America was never great as it was garbage from the out set.

Surprised that you're the field guide chad. It's a really good collection but you're missing some philosophy, poetry, and collected essays.
My personal recommendations based on your books:
>Plato's collected
Invaluable reference point I refer back to nearly monthly
>Lord Byron
You have a really good sense for writers that don't clown around so I think Byron would add to the flair. Also, Rumi (trust me on this one), Rilke (doesn't translate well but still a titan of human thought), and check out James Dickey, he's an American poet that I think would speak to you.
For phil / essays / Nonfiction, John Allegro's sacred mushroom and the cross might really be a fertile read based on what you have already as well as the Hidden Language of Plants (haven't read but was recommended on good authority). Also, check out Sloterdijk's Rage and Time, Chul-Han isn't on there at all but at the very least check out What is Beauty?, and On Being Blue from William Gass doesn't lend itself as an easy read but I have a soft spot for what it does with language and about language.

This is unironically one of the worst collections I've ever seen on this board, and I've been using this board regularly for about a decade. You just go into the Barnes and Noble and just buy the objects that you see. And no, I'm not only talking about your upper right section there. I'm also referring to your Dummies books, your Martin section, your inevitable unread black Manheim Mein Kampf, and the dull political books. There is virtually* no personality in this concatenation of bland objects, an impressive feat given how much of it there is.

*I will allow one complimentary remark. In spite of the dull inhumanity of the library, there is one trace of a personality: the language section, which betrays language itself as an interest.

Depends on what book you have. If it's just an usual story telling book, I wouldn't necessarily buy it, but if the book is meant for education, I would prefer to buy them, since you can always look stuff up or reread to refresh your knowledge. Also you can buy a book if you are attached emotionally to it.
