He suggests in Difference and Repetition that the eternal return may have been esoterically known in pre-Christian cultures. I don't think Deleuze, or Nietzsche for that matter, understood Buddhism well enough to affirm it. But you could argue for similarities between say the Buddhist dependent origination and the Deleuzean rhizome. And of course the atheistic preference for immanence over transcendence has parallel in Mahayana Buddhism.

There are some similarities, ontologically. The pure plane of immanence is in many ways comparable to the process of release through non-clinging in Buddhism. There is already quite a bit of work comparing Spinoza and Nietzsche to Buddhism on this account. The creative element in Deleuze's thought is quite apart from the renunciation found in Buddhism though.
