Reminder that you shouldn't consider writing philosophy until you're considerably old and you've attained a large sum of wealth to support yourself. Hobbes was a successful merchant and a politician before he wrote his magnum opus. The era of academic "philosophers" who make their living on government's paycheck by doing pseudophilosophy aka scepticism and nihilism masquerading as "critical thinking" is truly the darkest one in history of mankind
