I want to get 11/22/63 and 1Q84 on release day as well. I wish I owned early 1st editions, rather than stuff from the last few years. Owning 1st editions feel 'boss'. I wreck them pretty quickly though, like all my books: dog's ears, badly damaged spines, and crossed off short story titles on the contents page.

I own an American First Edition of After Dark my Murakami. It actually kind of irks me because the rest of my Murakami books are softcover and have a consistent design. I'm OCD like that.
