No idea, that depends. Some people are horrible, but the author manages to put it in a somewhat funny fashion. Consider certain movies. Something like Pulp Fiction is really fucking bizarre, but I don't really feel creeped out by it. Another example would be another Tarantino movie, that The Hostel, that one creeps me out.

If the book is any good, you're supposed to feel whatever it is you feel. The best literature is almost completely reader-agnostic. It shows him a vision but lets the reader see it for himself and experience it based on that unknowable confluence of personal experiences-ergo-predispositions causing no two readers to be completely alike.
