Good books about coming from a state of sin to faith/salvation/ redemption. As I’ve been exploring where I stand in faith, mysticism and spirituality I feel the weight of my past sins beers heavy upon me. My biggest vice is lust

If Augustine's book can't help you, no other book can.

Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners by John Bunyan. It is his spiritual autobiography. It is basically the 17th century English equivalent of Augustine's Confessions.

Tariki: Embracing Despair, Discovering Peace

I really liked this book, it's a short memoir about a Japanese author's conversion to Pure Land Buddhism. The English edition has a really corny cover though.

Flannery O'Connor wrote some interesting short stories with this as a theme. A Good Man is Hard to Find wasn't bad.

I second the recommendation, and the English cover definitely makes it look generic and arrogant. Most of the titles being mentioned are about Christian salvation, but Itsuki presents a good perspective on Pure Land views on faith and strength.
