As long as it's summer I have lots of spare time.
I decided to start a reading crusade.

>Steinback's Grapes of Wrath
>Whole Lovecraft literature
>Mein Kampf. wat? yes.
>Also willing to get Dante's Divine Comedy, -Kafka The Metamorphosis and The Trial, whole Poe's literature, etc
>What should I add to my to-read list? I'm expecting Proust, Hemingway, Faulkner amongst others.
TL;DR if such thing exists in /lit/ what classic books to read before I die.

There are three books which are considered to be his most important output. Those are: Revolt Against the Modern World, Men Among the Ruins, and Ride the Tiger. In that order.

I would advise you to check out Ride the Tiger first. It's a late postwar book, and perhaps the most relevant to our time. I would also advise you to get René Guénon's The Crisis of the Modern World (which was the main influence of the similarly titled book by Evola). Then, if you want, you go back to Evola's other works (even beyond the triology), or check out other stuff by Guénon.

Hitler was planning on starting the second world war way before he invaded poland. Pre-1939 he was also working on the invasion of France and was planning to invade them around 1942.

Read "Strange Victory" by Ernest R. May. Damn good book about the Fall of France and Germany's position pre-war in general.
