OP here. Personally, I'm not interested in Serrano because I want to believe that Hitler will be reincarnated as the tenth avatar of Vishnu at the end of the Kali Yuga.
I'm interested in him because he has a completely different starting point than I do. He's viewing reality from a radically different standpoint so I want to understand how he thinks. My background is in philosophy so I'm used to reading people who I radically disagree with so I can better understand both what they think and what I myself think.

Serrano came from a came from a prominent Chilean family and was from Latin America, where at the time being a nazi was not seen the same was as in Europe or the US. People in Chile must've known he was kind of a schizo too but thanks to his family he probably could stay as a diplomat (a position that in twentieth century Latin America was really more than anything honorary and generally not very important). The people he met with as a diplomat probably had no idea who he was.
