I work with the developmentally disabled and this reminds me of an autistic guy I used to sub with. His interpretation of smiling was basically this, that a smile was the tool you used to get other people to think you were all right so they'd leave you alone. He had incredible social anxiety, so he'd almost always have this big rictus grin plastered across his face and it would get more exaggerated the more uncomfortable or unsure of himself he felt. When his expression was at neutral, which for him was this disgruntled pensive look, that was actuall when he was most at ease. And if he caught you studying how he looked in those moments (which was admittedly hard not to do because they were so rare) the corpse smile would spring back into action immediately.

Because feminist literature is almost exclusively written by women who were groomed to act like children, and still act like children even after they became adults. Just like children, they seek attention and think the world revolves around them. They don't even realize that they were groomed into playing the mindless feminist game since the very beginning. The stupider women like this because they can lie to themselves that they have finally achieved a reconciliation of the two natures, subject (I'm a screaming childish cunt who says she's "brave," that means I'm an autonomous individual) and object (A man is always rushing around the next corner to react to me and court me, especially on "cheat" days where I don't feel like being a feminist, for example for the entire duration of most of my relationships and my relationship to my father and when I feel bad or sad or mad or make a mistake in life). But the few smart women can't maintain this lie, so the problem is actually intensified for them, because all the other women seem to be satisfied by it, and they aren't.
