Yes it is. Its all about rebellion against the supposed demiurge and returning to a predifferenciated state. Its also about gnosis, which makes it's soteriology entirely based upon insight, granting it an amoral praxis centered around detachment and the culling of any emotion and affect towards the outside world and it's inhabitants.
