It's more romantic in an Eastern sense thank to the Persian, Indians and South East Asians.

I am a semi iconoclast (in line with the Islamic vision) in light of the horrible culture we have surrounding celebrities and entertainment.

I love Akbarian theology. The sense that God is the absolute reality of this world, and the utter omnipotence of Him (the good and the bad) resulting in us being dependent upon Him wether or not we obey or not leads to a certain surrender and timidity when it comes to my private life that helps me tremendously.
And this all being a result of the Book.

I love The Quran (A J Arberry translation, read it with an open mind, I find the critiques here more than dishonest, being obviously from ill intentioned Christians and supplemented with ignorance about the tradition)

Yeah this is a big point of contention, but irregardless of whether you consider the Trinity to be truly monotheistic or not, Jesus still considered himself to have been God, whether he was God or not is a different matter

my biggest gripe with Islam is that the entirety of Judaism essentially is built around the promise of the Messiah, and Christianity claims that its central figure is the deliverance of that promise, which I am inclined to believe if I were to acknowledge that promise myself, so think of four thousand years of history and promise to bring about this Messiah and then he comes about (since Muslims also believe that Christ was the Messiah), but then he's overshadowed by Muhammad, who's role is in no way indicated or suggested in the OT, and since Muslims also acknowledge that Jesus brought about the gospel, then that's another point of contention since Christ proclaiming his union with God and his divinity is the main tenant of the Gospels
