Okay I'm only going to read ONE (1) Murakami novel, is it going to be 1Q84, Kafka on the Shore, Wind up Bird Chronicle, or Norwegian wood. What you say /lit/ ?

>Norwegian wood
It's the only book of his that I read, but I enjoyed it. It's comfy in a way apart from some characters commiting suicide. I felt like he had no idea where he was going with this story and just decided to make a love story as he went writing. Really nice easy read, but it's probably a book you will forget about in a few months after you finished it.

Nigga...it takes like a day to read a Murakami book. You should read more novels.

There's a few vaguely coomworthy passages. It also has a tranny that is decidedly not coomworthy, however

Fuck an entire novel. Just read After the Quake instead (short stories). It has something from every part of his wheelhouse and will give you an idea of what he's about. (Also >>18389385. His books are breezy and you should be able to finish them pretty quick).
