How about you find something interesting to read then? Why do you want to read? For the sake of reading itself and improving your skill in reading? Or to show off as a Twitter pseud? Or because you want to improve your knowledge on some specific subjects?
There are books that I couldn't read because they killed me with boredom, I tried to force myself to feel interested when I wasn't at all and I gained nothing from reading them.
Just find something you're interested in reading and take your time doing it.
