Ayn Rand is such a good author.

I'll just leave this here.

C'mon guise! Ayn Rand appreciation thread!!!

She wrote novels? I thought all of her work was self-masturbation of a stupid philosophy? I must've been incorrect.

yes you must have been

> self-masturbation of a stupid philosophy

wtf does that even mean? Isn't all masturbation self-masturbation? And how can stupid philosophy masturbate?

>> No.1836130

I thought Anthem sucked ass. Never read anything else by her.

I was saying she basically wrote bad novels that told the implementation of her philosophy, Objectivism, into a falsetto society. So I guess I should have said that way.

How is she a good author again?

Anthem was okay but it was a little too heavy handed with philosophy. Personally, I liked The Fountainhead quite a lot.

You know what's weird. I have the book "Anthem" in my room and I have no idea where it came from. I saw Ayn Rand on the cover and from what I've heard about her I don't think I should read it.

clearly anyone who reads Rand doesn't.

Why do people criticize you when attack a straw man in a public debate, but then cream themselves if you do it in a novel?
