Good morning /lit/. It's that time again for our monthly reader's poll.

In case you haven't ever voted in or seen this poll before, this is the poll where we create monthly charts displaying what /lit/ is reading on a month to month basis. Any poem or play or novel or non-fiction work is acceptable to vote for as long as it was something you read this past May. However, be aware that any exact duplicate/spam ballots you submit won't be tallied in the final count.

At the end of the poll, all the votes will be tallied and I will post a chart. One half of the chart will be dedicated to those works most read by other anons, and the other half will be a gallery of 'honorable mentions' of lesser-known or underappreciated works which anons read.

I hope you all had a good month, here's to many more! Happy Reading!

Just a Google form with custom typeface for you to write down what you read in last month.

I've read nothing last month, so... I've added nothing to the list.

It also might be easier on your end if you give users a template as to how to submit their answer (such as last name of author , title (e.g. Melville, Moby Dick))

Here you go, buddy. I saw that another anon was 'revamping' the chart to make it a little more appealing to the eye, but I don't know whether he was continuing with that venture.

Post previous month's charts please

Also it's not clear if there is a ranking when voting i.e. if book 1 gives more points or something

>Aeschylus is #40
>it's not even with Orestia
Something wrong with this chart desu. /lit/ always talks about Oresteia whenever we have Greek plays thread. Maybe the voting was held for too little time. I personally never seen when this voting happened.

All books are weighted the same. No slot gives a book more points than the other, so you don't have to worry about that.

>>18362974
Interestingly enough, not even one person voted for the Oresteia, and that's out of a little more than one hundred total ballots.

Hey, thanks for making this compilation chart, looks great!

I've been seeing more and more mentions of Ezra Pound this month so lets hope he makes the cut in some form this time.

I like the chart because it shows lit is more then just meme trilogy, DFW and pol posting.
People actually read diverse stuff.

>mfw all these people are reading more than one book a month.

>> No.18370329

>>18369314
You don't have to feel ashamed about that, some of these people are reading much shorter books. Also, you don't necessarily have to have finished the book, as long as you read a significant portion of it and enjoyed it. There's no expectation for you to read 5 books, but the option is there in the event you did. Don't be self-conscious, my friend, you are not inferior.

Honestly, Guenon (and Evola) got me back into reading regularly and I started with him this May. I am now working on spreading back out to other books, so I don't burn myself out from reading again like the hyperfocused sperg I am. Cheers!
