AP English classes in many (non-shit) high schools teach exactly this. I remember having to study Latin and Greek root words for my English class. It was way more effective than the shitty vocab memorization from other high school English classes I took.

You are learning how words are constructed and connected and the sense behind them instead of just memorizing words and definitions themselves. Plenty of schools teach this, common, you just need to move past basic level classes.

I don't know what you're so mad about. I know tongues shift and blend, I just have my own aesthetic liking towards Germanic rather than Latin words in English and I was asking for advice on fostering that side of my speech. You're reply is a good sample of Latin which bothers my ear.
