Who doesn't love Dick?

Ever notice that really good science fiction gets 'colonized' by the mainstream?
PKD wrote about people and feelings in relation to imagined worlds as did Orwell, Huxley, to t Bradbury etc...
The 'other' sci-fi, that people associate with the worst of the genre tends to be wish-fulfillment fantasy
