What are some lesser known/more niche works of philosophy that are worth reading?
Books that zone in on a single idea and really explore it in great depth.

Schelling's works on Naturphilosophie are largely ignored but they legit offer a schizo absolute idealist philosophy of nature and basically set the groundwork for a sort of modern Boehmian influenced alchemy. His theories on Electricity, Magnetism, Gravity and Chemicals are kinda wacky, but still really cool. Naturphilosophie also sets up a sort of proto Process Philosophy that is eerily similar to Bergson/Whitehead.

This sounds really cool. I was just wondering to myself the other night what really is the force behind nature that keeps it so balanced and efficient. It sounds like this might be right up my alley

Check out the Outline to the System of Naturphilosophie (SUNY press has it). It's really interesting stuff, especially his theory of matter, which he sees as dynamic and essentially product/image of an infinite action or striving against an inhibiting force.

Checked, satan. Thanks for the recommendation. This sounds so interesting that I actually just ordered a copy even though it was $35

it's not obscure among deleuze enthusiasts, but Maimon has been neglected even by real enthusiasts of german idealism for forever

On Cosmogonic Eros by Klages is one of the most exciting new translations of the century so far.
