Right? Don't act like you're a fan and then call Norex's Adventure's "Chipchip's Adventures".

Like bro wtf. I bet you didn't even know Xeron is his evil twin brother, two halves of a soul split at creation by the hexoblade that killed their pregnant mother which is the SAME ONE HE WEILDS NOW!

Someone made a post a while ago about this subsection of online genre fiction that is focused on the protagonist's acquisition and mastery of a specific skill, and it's meant to replicate the quantified, tangible progress schemes that you'd encounter in video games or rpg and so on. And it's not just "he trained and he got good, the end" iirc some of the most popular ones are work-in-progress and have been going on for years.

It actually piqued my curiosity and I might read something of that nature for the first time ever just to see how the fuck you write something like that.

"Hahahah! Chipchip, let's go on an adventure!" said Norex, as he frolicked along the barren tundra. It was green for miles in all direction, with no cloud in sight. Chipchip nodded in earnest as he floated along behind Norex, smiling and ocasionally fluttering his wings, making sure not to get too close to Norex's wooden sword.

Norex and Chipchip had been friends since Norex's mother found chipchip in the wheat fields as just a baby floating monkey head with wings. Dara, the sweet soul, couldn't till the wheat with such a poor helpless creature. When she took it in, baby Norex's brilliant smile shown through as he and Chipchip tried to get little Chipchip's wings to work. In time, Chipchip could fly as high as the great hawks, but stayed by Norex's side out of a sense of loyalty for being his best ever absolute dankest and legitest friend ever.

"Oh Chipchip, this is going to be a fantastic adventure. I don't believe we have ever done anything quite like this before!"

"OOOH OHH AHHH AHHH" chirped Chipchip.

Suddenly a goblin appeared out of a hole in the ground that was not visible from their position.

“I am a goblin!” It said, “my name is frank, the goblin!”

this goblin character sounds like a shady character. I wonder what kind of crazy scheme he's gonna drag ChipChip into
