I want wealth to insulate myself from reality. I don't care about cars, houses or women I just want to stay as a NEET and hug my parents and feed the squirrels during my daily walk. I can't bare the thought of plunging myself into the terrible reality of this world and dealing with the stressors of people that see you as an object that can be used to extract resources from. I hate the thought of having to grow cynical and adopt the personality of a grifter to succeed. I don't want any of it.

So how do I do it /lit/? What do I read? Or do I say a couple of magic words? Please teach me.

Push through it for a few years, adopt whatever personality is neccesary, and become rich enough to retire with a few millions, it's almost 10 years worth of work but after that comes a lifetime of retreat from whatever you say you hate right now, or just invest 10k in some shitcoin like Hoge with 9 zeros that will be succesful and multiply your money by 300 and become a millionaire without any work.

I don't think anything good can come with me engaging in reality. I have been thinking about this a lot and every time I imagine myself trying to succeed, it always seems so cold. I become a person who deliberately acts malicious and grifts to win. Besides what is there in life anyways? Annoying roommates and constant reminders, alarms and looming deadlines that spike your cortisol? Finding the love of your life? Already did and she doesn't exist within reality. I've read the Bible a bunch of times in different languages, and the question of "why, should I read the Bible?" is not that absurd, it's just a book, and not a particulary good one at that.
