I'm a big fan of Mel Gibson's 'The Passion of the Christ's, it's an incredible movie. Knowing that he is a lapsed Catholic and still has such faith and devotion that he expressed through the movie is inspiring.

As a practicing Catholic, what are some good books to read on the subject of those who have fallen away or "lapsed" in their faith?

The Power and The Glory. Spawned the phrase "whiskey priest" which is basically Mel Gibson before Mel Gibson.
