I first read Valis about a year and a half ago, after I had just been released from the hospital after trying to kill myself and I was fucked up on psych meds.

Shit was a trip, it's probably the most memorable book I've ever read because of the circumstances I read it in. Those meds ruined my life, but the book probably saved my sanity.

Hollywood date-rapes every PKD novel it meets.
"Blade Runner"=good movie, not really the same tone as "...Androids?".
The title was from a completely different movie about black market surgery...doesnt really make sense in context...
