I remember reading that book, enjoying it, but only recall a few snippets. The plot is forgotten aside from time travel with a spray can that isn't actually time travel. I have trouble remembering schizo ramblings in general though.

A PKD novel is science fiction in a way gamerscum can't appreciate. It's not about the worldbuilding. It's about the protagonist's personal life and inner experience in an outer world that appears fantastic and bewildering, which is how this one already appears to a drug user with mental illness.

I was expecting some huge reveal about Ubik while reading the book, but it turned out to be a nothingburger. Really disappointing.
