Do you think pewdiepie understands the book he reads or is he just pretending to understand them?

He is definitely smarter and more well read than the average /lit/ poster

>> No.18179858

He seems to be really insightful. His book reviews are basically just summaries but he seems to be genuinely interested in stoicism.

I wish he would do a video lesson on the Swedish language.

He tries his best, sometimes having an appreciably original take, and other times completely retarded reddit opinions.

He gets smarter every year, and the Aryan brain continues to amaze in its ability.

At his level he has interacted with many different people and seen many different things. I believe that adds a lot of value to reading philosophical work.

>that video on Kierkegaard where he's annoyed because he thinks K. just said "take a leap of faith in God to solve all your problems"
>the next video where he apologises for misunderstanding Kierkegaard and for being a retard

He obviously does. He’s not a professional literary critic but he’s a smart guy and of the reviews I have seen of his on books I have read he has had some interesting thoughts that he could not have had if he didn’t understand what he was reading
