this guenon nigga seems pretty smart, and i am mostly on board with what he has to say. that said, he states that biological evolution is complete bullshit, and i can't see why. biological evolution is to me a very logical and reasonable concept, so what's his explanation for where biological life came from?

Evolution implies the idea of progress, all traditions tell us of involution, the fall of man, etc. And why would you care about tradition if you believe in evolution, since it implies that people in older times were inferior?

From the spiritual.
So the opposite of what materialist says : not by the "matter".

Evolution doesn’t explain where life comes from, and it is the exact opposite of reasonable

but then why are we so similar to monkeys? and why are so many other species similar to each other, as if they developed from one another? and how did we get placed into the world if we didn't evolve? did we just warp out of the spiritual world or something?

The problem is that modern man takes a positivist view of creation - that is, modern man sees the physical aspect of the cosmos as the fundamental and substantial ground of all, subsuming within it any implicit conception of God and in doing so, profaning Him.
This is largely the fault of so many religious fundamentalists who permit such an attack by the nonreligious by profaning their own religions.
This tendency is seen quite strikingly among Reformed Christians on one hand, and Salafi Muslims on the other - as adherents to sola scriptura and the Hanbali fiqh respectively, both put an emphasis on scriptural exegesis and are liable in this respect to disregard traditional understanding and custom where the latter does not seem to reflect an "honest" exegesis of scripture. Such "honesty" is assumed by many to day to be mere literalism in a very materialistic sense, on the implicit (and incorrect) assumption that the ancients considered the physical to be the fundamental and substantial ground of all - which, as a matter of fact, they did not.
Anything material that can be empirically observed and defined implies a negation of what it is not, which in itself is limiting and therefore cannot suffice to be the ground of all.
So how does this apply to your question? What fundamentally is man? Did man proceed from the bipedal ape, or did the bipedal ape come to embody man?
We are more than our mere biology, in other words.
