i’m trying to tackle a few of his essays before i take another stab at infinite jest so maybe I just need to read more to ‘get it’. I really loved that essay about tennis, the precision of language and snappy introductions sucked me in, but narrative wise he’s a bit hit or miss especially with the later works in ‘oblivion’
