How hard is it to learn Sanskrit?

Good question. Did some digging and found this Bhagavad Gita epic story. Perhaps hearing the story this way might help you learn Sanskrit through exposure.

I picked up a little weeb Japanese through exposure, but not enough conversation skills.

Depends
If you know Persian or some northern poo language, it's as hard as Latin for the average Yuro
If not, it's pretty fucking tough and honestly, not worth it
It's easier than moon rune languages but that isn't saying much
