No, it's still wrong. "Wanted" needs a subject. Construct it as a question and which sounds better: "Who wanted vagoo?" or "Whom wanted vagoo?"

it would be: "Who is the bell tolling for?"
and that would be improper because of the preposition. so for whom does the bell toll? would be proper as a question.

her original post, wouldn't it be 'for whoever wanted vagoo?'

>> No.1812768

>>1812750

>for whom wanted vagoo yesterday

>This is for whom(ever) wanted vagoo yesterday

She omitted the subject. It being the picture of the vagoo.

>"Who wanted vagoo?" or "Whom wanted vagoo?"

You're changing the subject to the person being referred to. In this case 'who' would be correct, but that's not how the original statement is structured.

The easiest way is to ask it as a question - if the answer would be "him" then whom is correct. If not, then who...

Who requested vagoo? He did. So in this case, the slut with the little tits is incorrect.

To whom did the vagoo go? It went to him,

So. This trolling cunt, to whom we should direct our gratitude, has provided us with valuable learnings, if not photographs of her infected snatch.

There are no arguments in grammar - it's one of the few areas of literature in which there is in fact a correct, non-subjective answer.

Ostensibly yes, but not always, language and grammar changes and evolves according to its users needs.

Ironically heres a faggot to show the follies of grammar correction:

Still doesn't work. Re-read the sentence, and you'll see how the For fucks the question up. The question is still "Who wanted vagoo yesterday? He did". "By whom was vagoo requested yesterday? By Him" is the correct form, but that's not how it was written.

Anyway, the tip I gave works, although as in all English Language issues, there are almost certainly massive exceptions that you just have to learn. Anyway, it's my day off, so I'm not doing any more grammar today. Not for free anyway - 25 euros an hour for English classes.

>> No.1812802

>>1812777

Correct as agreed upon by the largest group of people. This is why the English language is always changing; it is never static. To say that there is an absolute truth in grammar is false. While it may be true in that particular academic environment, it will differ greatly in varying institutions and time periods.

TL;DR

Grammar is not science faggot.
