idk if thats full true. seeing how pants were considered low class working cloths until the french revolution and upended breeches. i do think it is part of the greater trend, but there are different aspects to it as well. including what cloths are produced and such. i dont think t-shirts were much of a thing in the 1880’s abd the equivalent of blazers would be wore. as commonwear (often witb a ruffer fiber rather than the more fine ones)
