One of my favorites. I love Butler.

God forbid someone on /lit/ wants to talk about a book.

Yes this is what I am getting at.

>> No.1809259

I was more partial to Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.

>> No.1809302

The title of the 8th(and supposedly last) was just announced.

"The Last Guardian"

>> No.1809312

This was a really cool book when I was 10. Not trolling or anything. I genuinely enjoyed it.

how about this shit

>> No.1809615

As it's ending I'll think I'll pick up the ones I never read, just for closure. With The Edge and Alex Rider recently finishing, Artemis Fowl coming to an end will be a trilogy of childhood series finished.

>> No.1809618

>>1809360

Holy shit yes. I only remember the writer's name. Can never remember which of the books about the mouse having adventures I actually read. Remember it was awesome as hell though.

Rats of Nimh knock-off.

I don't know why, but I HATED both of these books. Everyone told me they were awesome, so I tried to read both of them (more than once) but just couldn't get into them. I started the Xanth series in like 3rd grade or something. Really liked those.

same here man, artemis fowl was shit

>> No.1809647

Bonus points if you read and transcribed the shit down the bottom of the pages as well.

I certainly did.

Martin of Redwall, I think that was the title

>> No.1809704

Jacques wrote a lot of the Redwall books. He recently died, sadly enough. Rakkety Tam was my favorite.

Fuck year. I still read new copies coming out; it's always been a solid read for me. Nothing special anymore, but fun.

>>1809302
Last Gaurdian, eh? Guess I should read Atlantis Complex finally.

>> No.1809764

>>1809647

So did I. In the garden on a sunny day, book open and pages of symbols and letters in front of me. Felt awesome.

>> No.1810234

As a kid I read 1984, Fahrenheit 451 and Animal Farm. It wasn't till I was an adult that I started reading book meant for children (protip, most of them suck).

>> No.1810313

The last one I read was the one where Opal Koboi starts wrecking shit again. Artemis and Holly get trapped in some theme park for a few chapters and the cover is blue, that's all I remember.

The second one is by far the best.
