Great job /lit/. I am impressed.
Let it never be said that nothing good ever came of this place. I finished CotC and the imagination in it was absolutely superb. Which should I read now? I'm confused by which I should read next.

F. Gardner doesn’t exist. His books were ghostwritten by the archeons who are testing us all.

Oh, I didn’t know you/FG had been contributing to the flash fiction anthology actually written by real /lit/ anons (protip: you can tell because they’re actually anonymous) and published at zero profit?

Please, carry on!

Advertising and begging. By a bunch of literal no name anons who have to try to hijack a Gardener thread to stay relevant.
It took 50 of you guys to do the work of F. Gardener. Trying to ride on someone's coat tails is just sad. I haven't seen Gardener or his base try to hijack your threads but that's probably because it would be a waste of time.

It’s just one asshole. That shouldn’t mess up their book as a whole. But posts like that do leave a bad taste in my mouth, too.

As for Horror’s Call the only one I read in length was Arcade. I would suggest that one.

Same. I already read Arcade and didn’t know there was more of these other than that and Crocodile. I want to read the rest too. But it doesn’t feel right getting them for next to nothing. I’d rather pay a little more and know my money was spent supporting a writer from /lit.

This anon is Gardner. He's become very clever. First he pretended to be other anons pretending to be himself. Now he pretends to be his own critics and starts literary feuds with himself for attention. It's Gardner vs. Gardner, but all of the anti-Gardners you read are just Gardner shilling himself. Nice try, Gardner.

>> No.18061146

Whatever you say, Gardner.

>>18058402
Kappa and Arcade are good and that seems to be the consensus. Crocodile is hard mode and Cradle is just weird because of the whole baby protag thing. I did like it more than Crocodile because it’s not as contrived. Really the only reason to read Crocodile is because of the twist. It’s the most pretentious because of all the symbolism Gardner was throwing into it. Constant literary allegories about Dante’s Dive Comedy and that sort of tripe. Cherokee is okay because it’s mostly just a ghost mystery in Chicago. At least for the first half of the book. The Gardner does his usual jarring shift where the entire goal of the characters change and kind of pisses me off.
