my ex has dyslexia, I used to read stuff to her at times.. she can read herself, but it took time so I would jump in at times

so, not sure how much of an advice that is, but it was fun for both of us occasionally

I'm dyslexic, I was once told just to get a thin transluscent set of plastic cards in various covers and place them over the screen/paper I was reading. Supposedly different people respond better to different colours, red worked for me.
