The Judge's House is my favorite, I read it in 2008 in highschool and it was great to rediscover it in 2019 when I read an anthology of Stoker's stories. When I was I teenager I had no idea that it was written by the author of Dracula.

Ligotti's "philosophy" book is so unbelievably shit that whatever talent he has as writer is overshadowed by the immense cringe of it.
