I owe a lot to this book since it unironically got me into literature when I got /pol/ized. Moving me into the Mircea Eliade route and onwards into actual Christian texts and well Augustine and the like which really made me stop caring about politics in this world since the ideal absolute monarchist state to be yearned for only exists in Heaven with God as king. Nowadays I try to make my political thought in line with your average early medieval Christian peasant, but know nowadays there is no hope in actualizing it. I don't know what is it about interwar thinkers and doers (particularly on the Axis side) but damn they were talented and perhaps right all along......

I had a very similar trajectory. So much of the ideological articulation of Fascism is eclipsed by GnatSock thought. But, for all of the beauty inherent to it, it will not successfulz rise again in our lifetime, nor likely our childrens lifetime. That leaves only to live a life of discipline, study, work, and prayer with the aim of being as little dependant on the system as possible.
