A little erudite dialogue from a story I'm writing (it's basically Borges meets Bataille, but set in Bangkok):

"It's doubtlessly a really complex subject, I was just throwing some ideas out there. What is undeniable is the level of Western and Australian sex tourism they receive. These Western sex tourists may be subconsciously pederastic, and they make that pederastic orientation more palatable for themselves, subconsciously or otherwise, by having the homosexual prostitute, already selected for neotenic qualities, crossdress, hormonally "grow" breasts etc. It's the exoticized intersection of race, age, gender, etc. all rolled into the most palatably exciting ball for Western male consumers who essentially get a kick from sodomizing female passing Asian males; but all those boxes must be checkmarked because it is an exceedingly racialized homosexual fetish."
