It is not. It is a very outdated translation and not very good. It is fine to read through a few passages after you are familiar with the text, but it is a poor choice for someone wanting to get into religion. Go with pic related.

Yes, KJV is the best, but be careful with the apocrypha if you do end up approaching it religiously, you should look into the criteria that were used to classify them as non-canon.

All Bibles are shit. The translations are just the different foods that it came from, which are the specific goals the translators had in mind. None of them could change the final product though, the steaming butt cigar that comes from the collective rectums of these translators

KJV is unadulterated kino, the writing is beautiful and breath a much need life into the scripture The kjv can be appreciated as a magnificent peice of literature even if youre not a christian.
