most books don't feel like they stretch my brain much
some math books, some programming projects, and only a select few philosophy texts
what was the last book that made your brain work hard?

is infinite jest considered harder or easier than Gravity's Rainbow?

Not that I really understood much of what was happening in GR plotwise, at a certain point I just enjoyed it because I liked Pynchon's style of writing.
