I don't have twitter, and I didn't post this from my phone.
My friend asked me what the latest book I picked up was.
Weeks later I transfered it to my PC, and now made this thread.
but thanks for not being to presumptive.

Mark Fisher is midwit core. But anyway, you have two paths:
1. Become a Twitter tranny with “Neo-Deleuzian” and “g/acc” in your bio
2. Become a fascist tranny

Did you read Flatline Constructs yet?
I'm moving on to Plant once I'm done with that.

>> No.18001826

byung chul han probably. Haven't read him yet but psychopolitics and the burnout society seem pretty interesting. Besides that the blindpill chart might be what you're looking for.

Also how is this book compared to ghosts of my life? Like what are the essays about?
I liked ghosts but some of the british pop culture he referenced didn't interest me at all. I mostly read it because he talks about burial, post-punk and the caretaker. I'm hoping that this book has more interesting, less uk-centered topics

honestly, it's essentially ghosts of my life: bigger, longer, and uncut.
there's a few choice essays, but they're near the back
beyond capitalist realism, it's more enlightening to read works written about mark fisher than it is to read mark fisher.

Oh and Debord of course. Also, read some Lovecraft collection (The Lovecraft Compendium for example), Naked Lunch, Neuromancer, Snow Crash, Energy Flash/Generation Ecstasy (or at least the first chapter about Detroit Techno) and then CCRU Writings 1997-2003. Kodwo Eshun is pretty good as well.

Sadie Plant as well, both The Most Radical Gesture and Zeroes + Ones are amazing.

never heard of that, seems interesting, though I don't know how much you can get out of a fisher biography that you otherwise wouldn't get from his writings.
