I've seen a few threads on Mesopotamian literature recently, but what about the Egyptians? What are your favourite literary works/editions? Favourite god/goddess?

I’m definitely a sucker for Seth. I just like underdogs. This is informed by something that happened in my youth. I don’t know if this is a cartoon that was broadcasted all over the world, but there’s this cartoon called Ovide, and it had a couple of good guys, and a bad guy snake and his friend, and just in the intro alone, the ‘good’ guys treat that snake like such shit, I just couldn’t help but root for that snake. He became the underdog, and the actual good guy.

Fuck you Ovide, you smug little prick
