Really? I think his books are excellent. I don't agree with his politics, but he offers a very cogent analysis of why Communism degenerates into red bureaucracy, for example, or why Anarchism is ultimately unworkable in practice.

Not him, but Russell is the worst charlatan when it comes to the history of philosophy. He has been rightly charged as willfully misrepresenting views contrary to his own. Based on that characteristic, I never want to read anything else by him.
