Agreed, I have stopped posting about philosophy or anything else seriously. If I have trouble with what I'm reading, I go to reddit or Google instead.
Its not worth it, the quality of the board is low and most people aren't interested in genuine discussion, it's just /pol/ 2.0 with pseud ranting about things they don't understand, and it all boils down to "Thing I like is good, thing you like is bad".
Just watch any Marx threads or postmodernist threads, it's just a bunch of midwits saying "lol Foucault bad and degenerate" with few effort posters trying to make it worthwhile.

I made the OP the way it is because OP's that don't affront anyone go straight to the archive. My point here is honest: I have sacrificed time and effort in trying to understand the great heads of philosophy since Kant and have received very little reward for any of it. I have no better understanding of the divinity I experience in everyday life and the presence of the greater that isn't grasped by ordinary thought.

I've seen several threads in which /pol/ and /pol/tards are mentioned,without anyone in the thread being a /pol/tard,and now it seems like a maybe marxist or maybe postmodernist intellectual such as yourself is one of those people who reeeees at /pol/tards who don't exist.
