Is this faggot actually worth reading?

I've read around 4 of his seminars and every time I read a book about Lacan (Zizek for example) I could get his ideas 10x faster than directly reading Lacan.

Not particularly, any theory crib will produce its essence; insufferable prose, spare yourself the migranes

No.
It's just big words with lots of fog. This type of French ((theory)) is no theory.

Listen to what Chomsky says about Lacan (whom he knew personally) and Zizek.

Chomsky hates anyone who normies can't understand because he's a political activist. Lacanian psychoanalysis is incredible good and completes Freud's work in a satisfactory way

Talking is fine, but then you get jews, women and glorified simps, ie intellectuals to talk and talk and to never ever shut up.

THen it gets, worse, the psychologists view themselves as savants, as scientists, so they publish garbage '''''''''''''''''''''''research'''''''''''''''''''''and their only view in life is that people have problems, so the more those jews talk the more they have to make any little annoyance into a massive problem

ANd in a republic where the bourgeois manage to get the plebs care about politics and editorials and the media and the journalists, you have a resonance box of whinings by vaginas and jews and simps

THis is why the bourgeois republic is the highest form of government: the government by jews vaginas and simps, for the jews vaginas and simps.

of course, if you want to live in your own bubble. Freudian or any other psychoanalysis is a fraud, outdated, and a sham.

Even if is good, he’s a horrible teacher and I can learn his ideas 10x faster by reading someone else speaking about him.

It really frustrates me that the guy is supposed to be a philologist and yet creates confusing terms on purpose (e.g. other and Other, it’s so obvious that people will confuse the two when speaking about it)

lol, this. And on top of it he starts presenting his concepts in formulas... formulas which make no mathematical sense.

Why would you do this cargo cult version of science? And why confuse your readers with shit like object/Object? Bad style mixed with autism? Or trying to make you and your readers feel smarter when someone says the word "object" and you can interject with "is it petit o"?

The answer to this question is almost always no.
>I read a book about Lacan (Zizek for example) I could get his ideas 10x faster than directly reading Lacan.
Same for nearly all 20th century "intellectuals". They're timewasters, read a companion if you're interested in the ideas. Usually they're so banal they can fit on the Stanford Encyclopedia page anyway.

He's not, though. He studied medicine, psychology.

Psychology is not easy, I've read around 10 books from Carl Jung before it started making sense.

The thing is that this Lacan dude manages to be even more verbose and obscure than a guy who writes about alchemy

I mean, Jung is probably not the best place to start if you want to get into post-freudian thinkers, especially the ones coming from France. To be fair, french psychoanalyst tend to be obscure in their way of presenting things and get lost in philosophical references or references to other obscure psychoanalyst.
