Communism will never work because it relies on people not being people and people caring about a state that doesn't let them personally rise. Why would anyone waste their life for nothing in return? You can't make me give a shit therefore it's just bunk from a rich boy who didn't understand how the world works. Capitalism is evil but it's pragmatic. Communism is hopelessly idealistic and that in my opinion makes it more evil because it's never going to work. It helps that pure capitalism has never been tried either. Mixed methods is the best option by combining socialist ideas like free healthcare, public schools, etc with a free market and the ability to acquire wealth so long as it's by a majority agreed upon set of rules and guidelines and everyone pays the same percentage in taxes.
